Interview Procedure

When you apply for a job with A.P. Moller - Maersk, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application within 72 hours.

All applicants fulfilling the basic job requirements will be invited to complete two online surveys. If you are selected, you will receive these surveys in your e-mail inbox within two weeks of submitting your application.

When deciding on whom to invite for personal interviews we will assess the received applications, taking your CV, application, education and experience as well as your response on the online assignments in to consideration. We will then revert with a decision on whether you will be invited for a personal interview.

The first interview will focus on you as a person, including what motivates and interests you. An important part of the interview is that we get to know your personal qualities. Once we have an understanding of your formal needs and experience we can evaluate whether or not we have a job in which you could thrive and do your best.

As part of the interview, we ask you to complete an assignment. The first interview lasts about one hour, including the assignment.

If you have attended an interview, you will receive a written response within 14 days, either in the form of an invitation to another interview or a rejection.

Those applicants, who are best matched to our vacancy, will be invited to an additional one or two interviews in which we will explore more thoroughly your professional and personal qualifications. You might also be asked to perform some additional tasks at these interviews.

We apply the principle of ‘the best person for the job’. This means that age, gender, nationality or religion do not determine who gets the job.
