Maersk FPSOs is committed to protecting the environment. Our level of ambition is reflected in the emphasis we place on all environmental aspects of managing our operations both offshore and onshore. Maersk FPSOs' environmental management system has received ISO 14001 Certification. This demonstrates how we systematically manage all environmental aspects of our business and continuously improve our performance by setting objectives, training personnel and monitoring the environmental impacts of our ventures.

We support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges. We continuously undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility and encourage development of environmentally friendly technologies. Our strategy commits us to comply with or go beyond legislative and regulative requirements. A major aspect of this strategy is promoting an environmental culture that is equal to our high safety performance.

Our primary means of improving our environmental performance is through technical improvements to the FPSOs, commercial partnerships and vigilant operational behaviour.
